The above picture was taken on my 50th birthday in August, 2004.  I am a native Italian, naturalized citizen of the US since 1972, living in Northeastern Pennsylvania with one of my two beautiful daughters, Ashley, her fiancée, Jake, and my 19-year-old Persian cat, Casey.  My older daughter resides in San Francisco.  I lost my dear husband of 30 years in 2001 after a 2-year battle with liposarcoma, a very rare and deadly form of cancer. 

I enjoy watching "All My Children" and volunteering on this website.  I love traveling, knitting, and reading in addition to watching TV.  I can be reached at giseleherbert@gmail.com.
