The autobiography of Susan Lucci (Erica) will be published next year. In addition to writing about life on the set
of "All My Children," she will reveal information on her devastating car accident, her miscarriage,
and the joy that came with finally winning an Emmy in 1999 after 18
previous nominations. She recounts her experiences on Broadway, performing to
sold-out audiences across the country as a cabaret, nightclub performer, and as
a celebrity dancer on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars."
Larry Keith, who played Nick Davis on AMC from 1970-78 and made
occasional returns over the years, most recently in 2005, died at the age of
79 on July 17 after a battle with cancer. AMC Creator Agnes Nixon recalled
that, "In the original story projection, Nick Davis was to die early on.
Larry Keith was so terrific, he stayed for eight years. When he left, much
to our regret, he gave himself a farewell party. He said, 'I'm leaving
because I just found out that Pine Valley doesn't have any synagogues!'"
J.R. Martinez (Brot) underwent surgery to repair a drooping left eye in
late June, "to prevent it from drying out and losing vision."

becomes even more unbalanced this week, when Liza starts playing with his ADHD
medication. Damon wants to be gone from Pine Valley when the truth comes out
about what has been going on between him and Liza behind Colby's back. While
Liza tells Tad about the photos Damon took of her this week, Colby has no idea!

life-altering news: The medication is working, but she's pregnant - and if she's
going to carry the baby to tern, she must cease the treatment. At week's end,
Angie does inform Jesse of her pregnancy, and early next week, she breaks the

hit (or two) this week. First, Greenlee questions David as to why he did
nothing to help when Ryan collapsed in the park, and orders him to stay away
from her ex. David then agrees to give Greenlee some time apart, but she feels
more trapped than ever when, in the hopes that remaining married to him will
seem preferable to life behind bars, David threatens to expose her role in the
Miranda embezzlement scheme. Later, while visiting Ryan in the hospital, a
shaken Greenlee is summoned to the police station - however when she gets there,
it's not an arrest awaiting her but a warm thank-you from Mayor Blanco to her
and David. Greenlee accuses David of setting up the whole thing just to scare
her and keep her away from Ryan. When David orchestrates a romantic meal for
two in their hotel room, she rejects the gesture.

the negative effect it has on her little girl, Annie redoubles her determination
to end things with JR. Scott proposes and Annie accepts, much to JR's

closely guarded past and unearthing some very interesting information: Turns
out, the lost love he's referenced was lost to Adam, of all people! When Erica
confronts Caleb about having grounds for his own personal vendetta against his
uncle's archenemy, she gains greater insight into his motivation for staying in
Pine Valley: To run Cortlandt and keet the company from falling into Chandler
hands! Unsettled after Caleb pulls her into a passionate lip lock, Erica tells
Jack that she wants to postpone the wedding - and move up the honeymoon. They
leave town together at the end of the week and won't be back until fall. The
