To make the Daytime Emmy nomination process fairer in 2012, NATAS (The
National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences) has instituted some
changes. There will no longer be a limit of 2 actors from each show who can
submit their name in the pre-nomination process in each category. Therefore,
everyone will have a chance to be considered for an award, not just the most
well-known actors. Also, judging pre-nominees hopefuls will take place
online. The top 10 pre-nominees from each category will be announced on
March 2, 2012.

scheduling conflicts.
Bo and Hope find the envelope that Alice had in the safety deposit box. Hope
opens it and finds a marriage certificate for her and John. Hope knows that it's
when she was being brain-washed by Stefano. John can't remember when they might
have been married, either. They tell Marlena, who's not too pleased to hear it.
They decide to get an annulment, but Carries says that won't work because they
were married in Alamainia. By that law, they have to go there, alone, and stay
for two weeks in order to dissolve their marriage.
Sami gets upset this week when she walks in on Rafe and Carrie kissing. She
yells at them, despite their trying to explain or make excuses. Carrie turns
around and blasts Sami right back for all the terrible things she has done.
Austin isn't too happy to hear it and is especially not happy to hear what
Carrie has to say about it. Rafe and Sami go home, and he tries to calm her
down, but it doesn't work. Sami wonders how she can trust Rafe and Carrie
together again, and Rafe agrees because he is fighting his attraction to Carrie.
He's freaked out by the kiss because he's never cheated before. Rafe agrees to
quit working with Carrie, and he does, but Sami ends up moving out by the end of
the week anyway. Will gets very outraged when he hears what happened.
Austin gets drunk late at night, in his office, because of what happened with
Rafe and Carrie. Abby finds him there and worries about him. Austin rants about
his marriage problems, but then he kisses Abby. They wake up the next day on the
couch, half-naked. Austin only remembers kissing Abby. She keeps quiet, letting
him believe that they slept together.

mansion and goes ballistic. Sami heads there and blasts EJ for hijacking their
daughter. Later, Rafe tries to clear the air with Sami, but she brushes him off
and turns her attention to work. Things get worse for Rafe and Carrie when they
