Fall Heats up with New Episodes of Hit Series PSYCH and BURN NOTICE

Summer Sensations ROYAL PAINS and WHITE COLLAR Return in January
The upcoming season of Doctor Who will be split into
two parts by the BBC. In the U.K., the first batch of seven episodes
will air in the spring, and culminate in a cliffhanger tentatively
scheduled to air Easter weekend. The second batch of six episodes
will air in the fall. It's still unclear if BBCAmerica will follow a
similar schedule in the U.S.
"We are going to make it two series – seven episodes at Easter
building to an earth-shattering climax, a cliffhanger we could never
normally do because it would be too long before it came back,"
Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat told the Guardian. All five
previous seasons of Doctor Who's revival have aired in a single
thirteen episode batch during the spring (in the U.K.). The series
will continue its annual tradition of special Christmas episodes.
The change in scheduling will cut the break between seasons in half.

Nigel Lythgoe will return as an executive producer of AMERICAN IDOL,

anniversary season of AMERICAN IDOL, premiering January 2011 on FOX.
SyFy has assembled a cast of veteran genre actors for it's new offbeat superhero
series, Three Inches. Noah Reid (Strange Days at Blake Holsey High) will star.
James Marsters (Smallville, Caprica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Andrea Martin
(My Big Fat Greek Wedding, SCTV Network), Stephanie Jacobsen (Melrose Place,
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Battlestar Galactica: Razor), Naoko
Mori (Torchwood), Antony Del Rio (The Super Hero Squad Show), Kyle Schmid (Blood
Ties) and Brandon Jay McLaren (TRON: Legacy, Harper’s Island) will join the

Three Inches follows the adventures of Walter Spackman (Reid), who, after being
struck by lightning, discovers he can move objects with his mind. He only can
move them a total of three inches, though. He’s soon recruited by a covert team
of superheroes each gifted with their own extraordinarily ordinary abilities.
Together, the unlikely band of heroes proves that “super” is simply a state of
mind.

WILLIAM BALDWIN TO GUEST-STAR OVER MULTIPLE-EPISODE ARC ON NBC´S RETURNING
DRAMA `PARENTHOOD´ UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 28, 2010 - NBC announced that William
Baldwin ("Dirty Sexy Money," "Gossip Girl") will join the cast of the
network´s returning drama "Parenthood" (Tuesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) for a
multiple-episode arc. Baldwin will be playing Gordon Flint, Adam´s (Peter Krause) wealthy,
charismatic boss. Gordon is content to let Adam do the grunt work of
running the company, preferring to spend his time thinking about the "big
picture." A dedicated bachelor, Gordon´s romantic life is the polar
opposite to Adam´s relationship with Kristina (Monica Potter). Gordon
brings tension to the Braverman clan when he sets his sights on Adam´s
sister, Sarah (Lauren Graham).

Country Music Superstar Clint Black Volunteers for "Get on the Bus" Campaign
Two years ago, Steve Mattingly was responding to a fire call at a neighborhood home, where he was asked to direct traffic around the site. Steve's wife, Melissa, was driving by the fire when disaster struck: Steve was hit full speed by a car that didn't see him. An EMT herself, Melissa immediately got out of her car and ran to her husband to give him care. Steve suffered multiple injuries, brain damage and amnesia. To date, he has had seven surgeries to try to repair the damage. Most of his problems with pain, balance and memory are irreparable, and he will probably never be able to work a full-time job again. Although Steve, 41, has regained his ability to walk and retains his humorous personality, his family knows his life has changed forever. They live in a small, 700-square-foot crumbling trailer, and Melissa, 38, is now the sole wage earner. They cannot afford to fix the home, which they also share with their growing daughters, Alana, 12, and Madison, 11. Now it's up to Ty and the gang to give this family who have endured such hardship some comfort in a peaceful new home.

Kara DioGuardi is stepping down from her role as a judge on AMERICAN IDOL.
DioGuardi joined AMERICAN IDOL as a judge in the series' eighth season.

but I feel like now is the best time to leave IDOL," said DioGuardi. "I am
