I wasn't sure if I was going to like this show at first. In the first
episode, Kevin Hill is a typical over-achieving, cocky, yuppie lawyer who beds
lots of women and doesn't call them back. But as soon as he inherited his
dead cousin's baby, the character softened and became more likable. He
also joined a small storefront lawfirm where the other lawyers are three women.
The baby, the women, and the gay nanny he hired make him get in touch with his
more sensitive, female side.
Taye Diggs, who plays Kevin, is very charismatic, whether he's in the
courtroom or holding the baby. This is an interesting concept about a man
who is juggling fatherhood, his job, and a social life all at once (welcome to
women's world!). So far I am really enjoying the show. While it may
sound like a chick show, I think guys would enjoy it, too, if they give it a
chance, because it's humorous and entertaining.
