"Ugly Betty" takes place in New York City, where Betty Suarez gets a job in the fashion world, despite the fact that she doesn't know or care about fashion. This is a really fun show with great characters. It's a a soap opera, but mostly it's a comedy, with a tremendous, multi-ethnic cast.
